Khan è una delle piccole leggendarie formazioni della Scuola di Canterbury, tenuta in grande considerazione dagli studiosi per la presenza di Hillage (Arzachel, Gong), Stewart (Egg, Hatfield And The North), Greenwood (Crazy World Of Arthur Brown).

Il loro unico album è una delle piccole perle del genere: lunghe composizioni in forma di suite, largo uso di tastiere, vertiginose soluzioni strumentali, improvvisazioni di matrice jazz, un po' di romantica melodia, il tutto tenuto insieme dalla straordinaria perizia tecnica dei musicisti. Stewart su tutti.

Pecato che la vicenda non abbia seguito perchè Hillage preferisce unirsi prima a Kevin Ayers poi ai Gong.
